Bar Harbor Road Opening Permit

If you are doing construction in Bar Harbor that will impact a Town-maintained road, you will need a Road Opening Permit. Typical reasons for the permit include any work related to water or sewer. The contractor who repaves the section of road will be responsible for any repairs needed within one year of the work.

Bar Harbor Curb Cut Form

Please complete the Curb Cut Application Form if you are installing a driveway or doing any work that involves cutting the curb. Our Curb Cut Policy spells out the details of the program.
