The contractor working on the MDOT Cromwell Brook Bridge #3 will be transferring traffic from the temporary detour bridge to the new bridge on Monday, November 17, 2025.
Traffic flow will remain one alternating lane with timed signals through the winter.
The new bridge will not be fully open for traffic until the pavement plants reopen, and base and surface pavement are placed in the Spring of 2026.
Thank you for your patience as the old bridge is replaced with a wider, safer, higher rated bridge.
