(to reduce sewer usage fees)
If you use water outside your home for lawns and gardens, you may be eligible for an adjustment in your sewer user fees for the Third Quarter (July 1 13 September 30).
Please fill out the form below and return it to the Sewer Department office at the Municipal Building if you do expect to use water outside during the Third Quarter.
The Finance Department will then use an average of your first and second quarter usage to calculate your Third Quarter bill. This adjustment should provide a savings to families who wish to water their lawns, gardens, or wash their cars, etc.

Town ordinance allows customers to install sewer deduct meters (i.e. a sub meter) to reduce their quarterly sewer billings for water that are inspected by the Town to confirm that certain usage is not entering the sewer system. $100 initial application and $25 fee annually thereafter.
