TOWN HILL MINI PLAN
Notice of Ongoing Public Workshops
The Planning Board will continue to take comments regarding the 2009/2010 Town Hill Mini Plan over the course of the summer. The purpose of these meetings is to allow the Planning Board to: 1) collect comments from the public in hopes of understanding why the Mini Plan failed, and 2) how the Mini Plan might be modified in the future so that the work is not completely lost. The Planning Board is encouraging residents to review the May 2009 Plan and the revised January 2010 plan as presented in the links below. The Board would like to understand what differences between these two documents may have caused the Mini Plan to fail at the June 2010 Town Meeting.
The Planning Board will assimilate public comments and review them with the Town Council in September. At that time, the Council will determine how best to move forward based on the analysis of the Planning Board.
Residents and interested parties are encouraged to attend Planning Board meetings, or submit their comments regarding the two versions of the Mini Plan via email or written letter to Planning Department staff. Staff will forward any written comments directly to the Board for its review.
