Fences of not more than eight feet in height in business and industrial districts and of not more than seven feet in height in all districts shall be set back 18" from the property lines to allow both sides to be maintained from the land belonging to the owner of the fence and sufficient to allow compliance with driveway and sight distances.
However, fences may be installed along a property line provided that the abutting property owners consent to the location and agree to provide access for maintenance on the fence side separately. The fence agreement must be submitted along with the building permit application for all abutting properties adjacent to the fence.
