Records from present date back to the late 1790. Records prior to 1892 are not a complete listing. A fee of $3.00 per record searched. If record is found, $3.00 fee includes a photocopy labeled "NOT FOR LEGAL PURPOSES". A $10.00 fee for a certified copy in long form. Make check payable to TOWN OF BAR HARBOR. Include all known information with the written request: name, dates, location. Fees must be paid in advance. Please mail requests to the Town Clerk or call for an appointment.
