Hurricane Earl Information

Hurricane Earl is projected to impact Bar Harbor sometime Friday, September 3, 2010 into Saturday September 4, 2010. Large amounts of rain, winds and surf are possible. Boaters are advised to secure their crafts. Residents along the immediate shoreline should monitor this dangerous storm closely. The Town of Bar Harbor Fire Department is prepared to respond to emergencies, however, the department will not be able to respond to reports of downed trees and power lines until it is safe to venture into the elements.
